US Rowing Waiver

Welcome to the Masters rowing program.  The information provided below will provide details on the program and a status on items still being developed. Below are listed several documents that facilitate the registration process. They are:

• Friends of Shenendehowa Crew, Inc. Waiver. Please read carefully and sign – it is required of anybody who rows for Shen Crew. If you have already signed this year, you are set.

• US Rowing Waiver. Required by some regattas for all rowers as a condition of entry.  Again, if you have filled one out for this year, you are set.

• Registration Form. This provides the information the Shen Crew needs to complete your registration.

• Consent for Treatment

• Photo Release

Coxswains will be some of the experienced high school coxswains.

Practice days are still up in the air. The days can be adjusted based on rowers’ availability.

The fee includes regatta entry fees entered by Masters for the Fall season. Rowers are responsible for their own travel expenses.  Boat transportation expenses will be masters' responsibility if regattas attended differ from youth regattas.  All rowers must belong to US Rowing. If you are not already a member, the fee for adults is $65 per year.

Signup is on the US Rowing web site listed below. List Friends of Shenendehowa Crew, Inc. as your affiliation. Please provide your number once you have registered. US Rowing membership includes insurance for events on the water and is a necessary supplement to insurance that you already have. There are other benefits, which are detailed on the US Rowing web site:

No, we will not be wearing unisuits. We wear spandex shorts (eliminates interference with the seat and slider) and a “Shen Crew Masters” T-shirt. Ordering details and cost will be arranged if you do not have this gear.
